Auburn, Ala. – Lake Wilmore Park Pool will close beginning Sunday, Aug. 9, for a scheduled replastering project. The pool is expected to reopen Monday, Aug. 17, weather and construction schedules permitting.

During the temporary closure, residents may utilize Samford Pool for lap swim (Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m. - 8 a.m. and Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.) and recreational swim opportunities (Monday - Friday: 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday: 2:30-6 p.m.).

The replastering project is part of the City's ongoing efforts to maintain safe, high-quality aquatic facilities for the community. Parks and Recreation staff appreciate the public's patience during this temporary closure and encourage patrons to utilize the other amenities at Lake Wilmore Park Recreation Center or visit Samford Pool while improvements are completed.
